This annual list honors the top 100 individuals in senior positions who advance the accounting profession and who have had an exceptional impact over the past year as they continue to help their businesses weather a global pandemic. The two leaders of Sage recognized this year are Ed Kless, senior director of partner development and strategy, and Kevin Cumley, senior director of the Sage Intacct Accountants program.
Kless, who joined Sage in 2003, develops and delivers programs for Sage business partners around consulting and pricing for small businesses. In addition, he animates the Sage Thought Leadership Podcastand co-hosts The soul of the companywith Ron Baker, founder of the VeraSage Institute and another Top 100 winner. Accounting today note, “Accountants think differently” thanks to the ideas Kless shares in trade shows and at conferences. This is the seventh year in a row that Kless has been named to the list.
A member of Sage since 2014, Cumley is responsible for managing the Outsourced Accounting and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) channel.for Sage Intacct Accountants Program. Cumley has over 30 years of experience in the accounting profession, building and managing successful ERP businesses. He is recognized as a leading expert in Accounts Receivable Services (CAS) using cloud financial solutions. Accounting today commended him for being a valuable facilitator who associates with the practices through not only provide cloud-based tools, but Also guiding them through the planning and execution of a detailed CAS strategy. This is the second year in a row that Cumley has been named to the list.
