RSM US, Junior Achievement opens “Innovation Center”

RSM US joined Junior Achievement of Northern New England to open JA’s first Innovation Center, housed at RSM’s offices in Charlestown, Massachusetts.

Dubbed the “JA Innovation Center @ RSM”, the center provides high school students with a place to design and manufacture their products and operate their businesses. The Innovation Center features state-of-the-art equipment, including 3D printers, laser cutters, and hand and power tools, for product design, prototyping, and manufacturing. The Innovation Center has received support from RSM, Wayfair and philanthropic investors.

“RSM has a long history of supporting the communities where our employees live and work,” Bill Kracunas, national management consulting leader at RSM US LLP and board member of Junior Achievement USA, said in a statement. “At RSM, we are committed to helping develop the middle market business leaders of tomorrow and we do this in part by improving educational outcomes through programs with Junior Achievement and other deserving charities.”

RSM also announced last year a $3 million investment in Junior Achievement’s “Take Stock in Your Future” program and JA Stock Market Challenge, which help students better understand the stock market. This included the creation of the JA Impact Fund and Match Program to enhance student programs and is a multi-year commitment through July 2026.

“Providing our students with a space where they can meet and work gives them the ability to create more innovative products and benefit from enhanced learning opportunities,” said Radhames Nova, President and CEO of Junior Achievement. of Northern New England, in a statement.
