Kim Kardashian has launched a new line of SKIMS swimwear “for every body”, sharing beach photos of herself modeling the pieces.

The reality TV star and entrepreneur – who went viral last week for her controversial comments about how women should be successful in business – unveiled the range on Instagram, which is set to officially launch on March 18.

Crediting her team of glam celebrities, makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic and hairstylist Chris Appleton, as well as photographer Greg Swales, the 41-year-old posted photos of herself and other models in a tropical location, wearing a range of bikinis, swimsuits and swim shorts and tops that can be worn in and out of the water.

His caption reads, “You asked, we listened.”

Many fans expressed their enthusiasm for the range with comments such as “yes, yes, yes”, “beautiful” and “obsessed with every piece”. However, others weren’t so sure it was as inclusive as expected, writing, “Where’s the thickness diversity?” and “These unrealistic beauty photos should be illegal.”

Discussing her enthusiasm for SKIMS SWIM and showing off designs on her Instagram Story, Kardashian told fans, “I really wanted pieces for every body.

“So if you want to cover up and use a pareo, cover up. If you want to cover your arms we have that, if you want a triangle top or to fully cover your chest, different types of arms, you just have to choosing is like lego pieces.”

She explained that it is: “To hide the parts of the body that you want to hide, hide and accentuate those [you want to show].”

Kardashian says SKIMS pieces include bike shorts, short sleeves and sarongs, some of which can be worn to dinner with a bikini still underneath, for example.

She said the material is really stretchy but thick “to hold you in”, with colors ranging from different types of nudes to vibrant blue colors. The pieces are available in sizes XXS to 4X, and prices start from $32 (£25).

On the official SKIMS Instagram page, the range is described as “Designed to flatter your curves, this is a new system of highly versatile silhouettes made with the innovative fit, style and comfort you already love from SKIMS “.

The launch of Kardashian’s new inclusive SKIMS swimwear line comes in the wake of her comments about women in business that seemed to alienate many people.

Speaking to Variety, the Kardashian sisters opened up about their new reality show, their relationships — and shared their top tips for businesswomen. Kim said, “I have the best advice for women in business.

“Get up and work. It seems like no one wants to work these days. You have to surround yourself with people who want to work, have a good work environment where people love what they do. You have a life , no toxic work environment and show up and get the job done.”

Many fans compared the advice to Molly-Mae’s comments on The Diary of a CEO where she said that we all have “the same 24 hours in a day”, both thinking to ignore the fact that people’s situations and opportunities differ greatly.

One fan commented, “So out of touch with the reality of our lives. A lot of us work really hard…we just weren’t born into wealth and privilege,” while another said, ” People want to work, they just want to be paid decently for what they do.”

Meanwhile, many have also called out Kourtney’s hypocrisy over hearing ‘it’s so true’ when it comes to ‘no one wants to work’, as she’s been known to advocate wanting to spend more time with her kids than spending time with her kids. work – which is completely acceptable and understandable of course.
