Defra’s Future Farming Resilience Fund has helped these organizations provide expert advice to farmers. It will provide more funding to organizations starting in September 2022.

You can receive:
- access to information webinars, 6 general transition update meetings and 5 more specialized meetings going deeper into certain topics
- 200 reference carbon balance sheets (delivered remotely), intended for companies interested in carbon for the first time, wishing to find their benchmark
- 30 carbon management plan visits (conducted face-to-face), aimed at companies that have at least 2 years of carbon audit data and already wish to consider the next step, such as mitigation measures for the 5 to next 10 years
The SRUC will provide an update on transition activity and introduce the topic of carbon to a wider audience. The objective will be to show the role of the carbon audit in a positive light. It can be a tool to examine business efficiency and demonstrate the links between good carbon management and operating profitability. Also to show where carbon could fit into future funding schemes.
