ESV Business Advice and Accounting has announced three promotions to join its management team.

James Raiti and Shae Rasmussen join as Client Directors and Hemant Nisar as Technical Director.

ESV’s longest-serving partner, Kurt Baker, said the company was happy to see the three make the move, as it showed the company’s development paths.

“It’s so nice to see our own local talent take the next step in their careers at ESV, as they continue to make their mark in their chosen area of expertise,” Mr. Baker said.

“We strive to provide a clear path for all team members; our people know exactly what they need to do to grow from junior advisor to account manager to partner.

“We provide the training, mentorship and support our employees need to achieve their career goals. »

ESV’s programs have helped employees like Mr. Raiti, Mr. Rasmussen and Mr. Nisar advance, Mr. Baker said.

“Through initiatives such as our Emerging Leaders Program, our Management Development Coaching Program and our bespoke Coaching Leadership Development Program, we create individual programs that support growth and development,” said Mr Baker.

“This is a key differentiator for ESV that we are very proud of.”

Mr. Raiti initially joined ESV as an advisor in 2014 and after a period of absence returned in 2018.

He said he was grateful for the promotion and wanted to continue working in his new role.

“I look forward to the opportunity to continue to work hand-in-hand with business owners in the mining, construction and renewable energy sectors,” Mr. Raiti said.

“My team and I will continue to focus on helping our customers succeed in their business journey through the delivery of our tailored customer service plans.”

Mr. Rasmussen specializes in working with international clients looking to start operations in Australia.

He said the company helped him develop his skills and gave him the chance to work with multinational companies.

“I started at ESV in 2016 on a pretty steep learning curve after realizing that Australia’s tax systems and business environment were very different to New Zealand’s,” Rasmussen said.

“Since that time, I have relished the opportunity to work with several multinational companies to effectively establish and build a presence in Australia.”

Mr. Nisar joined ESV over eight years ago as a senior auditor and has since become a key member of the audit and assurance team.

He said he looked forward to further helping customers in his new role as technical director.

“I take the opportunity to provide additional technical expertise to ESV clients in the areas of audit, assurance and regulatory requirements,” said Mr. Nisar.
