The new Bingham Enterprise Centre, close to the new Bingham Arena Leisure Center on Chapel Lane in the city, will open offices later this year.
The center will have free access to business advice funding provided by the European Regional Development Fund.
Insan Farooqui, an experienced East Midlands Chamber Business Adviser, will provide a wide variety of support, training and networking opportunities.
The business advisor has worked in the region for over 15 years and has helped start-ups, SMEs and large companies in many industrial sectors.
He said: “The new Bingham Enterprise Center is an exciting opportunity for businesses in the area looking to start or grow and I am delighted to be able to support their journey by offering Rushcliffe business assistance.
“Whether it’s managing people, accessing finance, or integrating a business plan, there’s always an area of running a business that could be made easier by having have an external voice to call upon.”
The project is receiving £1.675 million in funding from England’s European Regional Development Fund under the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Program 2014-2020.
Insan Farooqui added: “There are many business aids out there, but sometimes it can be difficult to understand where to start, so my role is to work with them individually to help them navigate and find the most suitable one. services tailored to their individual needs.
Enterprise Center’s upcoming offices will provide 12 free-standing, fiber-connected office suites on two floors ranging from 47 square meters (506 square feet) to 108 square meters (1,163 square feet) with dedicated parking.
The buildings will be designed with a focus on energy savings, with features such as air source heat pumps, water efficiency measures, LED lighting and photovoltaic panels on the roofs.
